Your week

Your week (or Tree of your week) is the week-overview surface in Tree's Work mode. It shows active projects as mini-trees positioned across the week by deadline, with a time axis and a now-marker.

What Your week shows

Your week renders roughly three active projects at once, each as a mini-version of its tree, with the project's deadline placed on the time axis. The user sees:

  • Project cards laid out across the week's days
  • Deadlines marked visibly so the user knows what's due when
  • The current day highlighted, with a now-marker
  • The weekend as a separate visual region (work versus rest distinction)

Projects without deadlines this week don't appear by default. The week view is for what's actually coming up, not a complete project list.

Orientation

Your week supports both horizontal and vertical orientation. The default is horizontal (days run left to right). Users can switch to vertical if they prefer a calendar-style stack.

The orientation choice is per-user and persists between sessions.

How Your week differs from Your day

Your day is for execution: it shows today's tasks, time-anchored to the hour. Your week is for awareness: it shows what's coming up, positioned by day rather than hour.

The two surfaces serve different cognitive needs. Your day is "what do I do right now." Your week is "what should I be preparing for."

Tier availability

Your week is part of the core Tree experience, available on Free, Paid, and Team.
