Why these four.

These are the four tools Tree's users come from. Linear when they tried to scope in an execution tool. Notion when they tried to make a wiki hold a roadmap. Jira when their org never gave them a choice. Plane when they wanted Jira's features for free and discovered the features were the problem.

Tree isn't trying to replace all of them. Linear is good at execution. Notion is good at docs. Jira is good at compliance. Plane is good at being a self-hosted Jira. We're after the part of project work none of them are shaped for: the structure. What depends on what. What unlocks what. What the path forward actually looks like.
